Hobbit Lore - Orcrist, Glamdring, and Sting
Orcrist, a powerful elvish blade, is found and claimed by Thorin Oakenshield in a troll's treasure cave. Orcrist is a twin with the blade Glamdring. It glows like fire when orcs are near. Its orc name is biter.

Glamdring, another powerful elvish blade, is found and claimed by Gandalf in the same troll's treasure cave. Glamdring is a twin with the blade Orcrist. It glows also like fire when orcs are near. Its orc name is beater.
